Senior Cloud Engineering Escalations Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for engineering escalations, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues.
• Propose and develop debuggability/supportability features based on identified trends.
• Maintain a prioritized issue list and action plan, ensuring timely resolution and engaging executive support when needed.
• Assess criticality and business impact of issues and provide regular status updates.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and presentation skills to lead customers through issue resolution.
• Strong technical background to understand and address support issues effectively.
• Ability to coordinate multiple activities and manage crisis situations.
• Problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
• 6-8 years of relevant experience with at least 3 years in an engineering escalation role.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python) and web technologies.
• Knowledge of cloud computing vendors (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and networking/storage/compute concepts.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science or Engineering.
